Aislinn Farrow – Studio Manager

Aislinn started dancing at 2 ½ years old at Mangala Creative Dance Studio in Melbourne. When her family moved to Castlemaine when she was 5, Aislinn (and her whole family) was thrilled to find Over the Moon to continue dancing! Over the 12 or 13 years that Aislinn danced at OTM she took all of the classes available to her – creative dance and yoga, ballet, contemporary and choreography. She was also an assistant in numerous classes from the age of 12 until she finished dancing at OTM.

After finishing school and travelling overseas for a period of time, Aislinn began working at OTM to assist Edna with the day to day administration of the dance school. During this time, she also stepped in to teach a number of Creative Dance and Yoga classes when others were away. Aislinn started studying a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management where she was introduced to the Laurel Martyn Dance Teaching System. She decided to transfer into a Bachelor of Arts and Primary Education and is now in her final year of study before becoming a full-time Primary teacher. Aislinn’s love for everything dance continues to grow and she regularly attends dance performances, yoga and dance classes in her free time.

Gradually, over the last 7 years, Aislinn has become more and more involved in the running of Over the Moon, including managing the annual performance and has naturally moved into the role of studio manager as the school has grown.
