Drama
Explore character, story and stagecraft while developing confidence, creativity and expressive communication through drama.
In 2025, Over The Moon introduced a new Drama program led by longtime local teacher Desirée Osborne. Desirée brings over 30 years’ experience in the performing arts, working with children from kindergarten through to Year 12, as well as in gifted education programs across Bendigo.
These classes introduce children to the principles of drama and theatre, nurturing their theatrical imagination and creativity across the full spectrum of performance – from the serious to the silly, from classical theatre to comedy.
Class sizes are small, allowing each student to build confidence, develop their expressive voice, and feel fully supported as they explore performance. Drama is a wonderful choice for both shy children and extroverts alike – it encourages empathy, imagination, teamwork and self-expression in a playful and inspiring environment.
