Nemo grew up jumping Over the Moon in Edna Reinhardt’s magical creative dance classes. She remembers dancing the Telephone Tango and other performances with Belinda Prest and Roz Avent. She enjoys sharing and learning folk stories and dances from many cultures in her EAL classrooms. She studied Uyghur folk dancing in Urumqi and has specialised in teaching this Pantomimic dance form as well as Baladi and other folk dancing which involve relational expression and improvisation within known musical motifs and gestures. She has taught creative dance to mothers and babies, children, teens and adults. She also facilitates Yoga Nidra and Mantra with harp holding the Yoga Nidra Professional and Advanced Training from Amrit Yoga Institute and Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Meditation Foundations Training from the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association of Australia and New Zealand.

Recently returning to Castlemaine, she has stepped back into Over the Moon enjoying dancing in her original teacher Edna’s creative dance classes and assisting Thai’s toddlers and grown up and children’s creative dance classes.

Nemo believes life is a circle dance and loves dancing and eating with people from all cultures and ages, especially all together.
